a-wandering wednesday: vientiane, laos

 

phew, i'm back!  sorry for the hiatus in the a-wandering wednesdays, i was off collecting more adventures to feature here (up next after south-east asia - the beautiful and passionate colombia!). 

but anyway, back to the lovely city of vientiane!  like many of the cities in laos, there's a strong french influence in vientiane - which is apparent in the architecture and the many delicious bakeries and pastry shops throughout town.  we were in heaven!  it was the perfect place to relax for a day and enjoy our last glimpse of laos before heading to cambodia.
